does anyone know what the rating is on the sending unit is in an ea sereis vehical? i am looking into possibly getting a fuel cell for my brat one day and was trying to figure out what ill need when i do go that route.

What ratings are you looking for?

Voltage/Amp or resistance?

that is basically what i am trying to figure out. i guess its what volt/resistance range that the fuel gauge reads.

The voltage regulator is in the gauge, so I dont know the value of that.

But the resistances are as follows:

Full tank--------7 ohms

Half tank------- 32.5 ohms

Zero tank-------95 ohms

 

FSM also states that standard resistance of fuel gauge is 45 ohms.

sweet, that is exactly what i was after. the book from the fsm set that covers that stuff is the one that i dont have.
