I am just wonder what the eletronics high lighted in the pic control Thats on the passenger side strut tower

your pictures take FOREVER to load, why is that? really annoying, can you shrink them and just post them on USMB rather than use photobucket?

 

the bottom solenoid is a switching solenoid, the other is a pressure transducer or sensor.

 

they affect transmission shift points in an automatic and are semi-EGR related as well. other than that i'm not sure.

Since those wire aren't hooked up then i think i figured the my shifts are off :clap::clap:

To find software to reduce an image to the relevant portion, you could do a Google search on "image editing cropping", for example. Here's one way to accomplish the task: http://www.updatexp.com/image-cropping.html

 

EDIT: I used MSPaint as explained in the link above, and saved it as a JPG file. I'll attach it to this post and see how it looks.

 

Further EDIT: There's some loss of detail, but I think it serves the purpose, and the file is much smaller.

That is the MAP sensor. It affects everything from shift points, to compensating for alltitude. It samples both the Manifold vacume and the atmospheric pressure. It's slightly inportant.
