April 22, 200817 yr my suspention is goin out or feels like it. but i wanted to know what kinda struts i can bolt up when i have the 4 inch lift. i hate the feeling when my wheel drops and theres a clunk at the end of it:-\ what are some of you guys runnin?
April 22, 200817 yr assuming you're talking about an EA82 in your profile. stock replacement......GR2s are nice. when I was looking locally, the Monroe's were cheapest. it's only the EA81s that can use longer rear shocks because they use a torsion bar instead of a spring.
April 22, 200817 yr dang i was thinkin the forester has struts that mounted up Front ones, you could modify the strut top bracket to any strut that you want, as long as it fits in the spindle...or you can make something that makes it fit...watch the length though, gotta be close to the same or your camber gets messed.
