Sideways Action! (always use a spotter)

Featured Replies

So, me and a couple friends went out into the hills north of Sunnyside, just killin time with the Beast. We have been out here before, and we have even crossed this same ditch before, but somehow, it didnt work so well this time...

Luckily I always have my tools, my hi lift jack, my shovel, a pair of tow straps, and my spare tire (even though it was flat, it still helped a ton)

It was Ironic, we had just gotten it high centered, and Levi was like, "we're F@#*%d", then as soon as we dug it out, bam, then he was like "Now we really are F@#*%d!" But we got it out, the only casualty was the driver side rear door, which still opens and closes, and the windo still operates just fine

Lessons learned: Always use a spotter! Just because you drive the most bada$$ Subaru in town doesnt mean it really CAN do anything. And just cuz your friends say you can make it, you prolly can't

Are the axle boots doing OK?

ha, the rear boots have been torn off since the day I got it, and the fronts have been torn since a month after I installed them. They make funny noises :) I will be replacing all my axles once I get my brat out of the shop and on the road.

spotters are overrated. if you know your vehicle you shouldn't need one till the rocks are the size of the tires and even then i rarely use them. if your spotter sucks, you will be in just as bad of a situation or worse than knowing your tire placement and vehicle roll point... looks like a fun ditch...

well if you wanta door let me know i have a POS loyale im parting out and i dont need the rear doors so there yours for the gas money of me ocming there. also you cna have the rear hatch thats aobut all im not taking at the moment lol. i will figure it out as i go. ttyl Rob:)

I think Im just gonna leave the door on it, It still opens and closes like nothing happened, and the window still works perfect too. Plus It adds character :headbang:

That ditch is just the beginning of the fun, there is so much untouched land out there, but thats because its back in my friend's Uncle's ranch... 10,000 acres in one pasture, and there are 10 pastures... its pretty crazy
