Is it the fuel pump?

Featured Replies

haha I guess you're right.. I just ran into a snag.. for some reason the positive post on the new pump is smaller and fits the stock screw nut but the Neg post is larger and wont fit the negative cable.

I don't think I have a wire nut for that here in my spare parts bin

but I went out and advance auto had a M5 nut that fit just right.

So the pump is in now :)

And... what happened ????

Well he isnt here yelling at us :)

What happen is it works fine it's a tad louder then the stock pump which means I can hear it a little.. I got on the highway and did some WOT pulls and no starving for fuel.

also the fuel strainer on the new one is not as curved as the other so when I went to place it in the tank I had to do a little moving...

interesting to see how little change you have from a half a tank to a full tank

Also when trying to release fuel pressure I think I had the car as low as an idle..

nipper might of remembered when we went off road that day and I got stuck on the trail with the wet ECU it was idling a little under the 2nd hash mark which I think is 500 rpm?

I'm going to be uploading the video in a few here.

hey I found out where that massive amount of water came in from.. the A/C evaporator line I'm not sure if it had a rubber seal around it or not (I can't remember) but that's where it all came in at.
