July 4, 200817 yr in a attempt to reseal my oil pump i broke the front housing does anyone in washington have a oil pump laying around i can buy ..... or know of a place that would have one none of the parts stores have em around here...
July 4, 200817 yr Author resealed the broken one and threw it back on.... guess i gotta wait till the 8th to get my new one xD i hate myself for trying to reseal that thing... i shoulda left it alone now it leaks worse than befor and i cant even drive cause im scarred its gonna gernade it haha....
July 4, 200817 yr I have yet to break a pump doing a reseal. You have have to twist and pull to get them off. GD

July 4, 200817 yr Author i paid that so i could have it by tuesday so i could continue driving it lol with the pump cracked like it is theres jagged metal rubbing on the internals of the pump but i had to put it back in so i could move it so i dont wanna move it far till i get a new one xD

July 9, 200817 yr Author new oil pump is in now i have really good oil pressure but i broke my nose taking the plug out of the new one i will never do another oil pump for as long as i live now
July 10, 200817 yr Author i got really pissed cause first off i broke the old one which still put out good oil pressure then i got the new one and the put a steel plug in the oil pressure sending unit hole so i threw it in the vice and could not for the life of my get the damn thing out so i put all my pressure on it and it poped out of the vice and clobbered me in the nose.... so basically im a idiot hahaha:cool:
July 11, 200817 yr I have an EA82 Oil Pump that I replaced today. I am in Spokane for the next few days. It is yours for the taking. It is in serviceable condition, I just prefer to put in a brand new one for piece of mind.
