July 11, 200817 yr I need a passenger side taillight lens for a 1882 Brat. Anyone have one for sale or know where I can get one? Are there ant other model years that use the same tail light? 1882? I knew Subaru was ahead of its time, but that is amazing.
July 11, 200817 yr try the Parts Wanted forum for better results... those things come up every now and then... not sure if the brats are like the wagons, but they changed the wagon tail lights in '83 by removing the chrome trim... my '82 wagon has chrome trim around the lights... I'm fairly sure that brat lights aren't interchangeable with other models... might help if you can post a picture of your light, but probably somebody with an '82 tail light will know... --Spiffy
July 12, 200817 yr Yes you are. And no, I do not want to join your club. If you actually called for a price you would be surprised to find they are rather affordable. All gen II Brat's use the same light, the lenses are still availible, and that's about the only place you'll find them. Think - before you speak. And when you need parts - try the wanted section (after you call the dealer). And I don't have a club. Don't want one either. I don't like people. GD

Called many places, they all said "difficult to find". Think before you assume. And hey, lighten up and have a nice day.
