I just did the LSD swap in the Beast, its not real hard, just unbolt one thing and bolt another together, could be done in under an hour... I got mine back in the car in 30 minutes... Anti-sieze is a wonderful thing

since, my original free ej22 deal fell thru last year ...

I found another donor for $200

A '90 legacy sedan (bpillar wrecked/trans diff)...the motor has 165k runs like a champ, no leaks...

So tommorrow I pull the ej22, harness, ecu..misc. goodies..

Just need an xt6 pressure plate,I have my sjr ej adapter plate.

A flywheel redrill .

My hatch will have some more umph to turn those bigger tires.

If you need to check out a swap in a hatch let me know. You can stop by and snap so photos or take a look at where I placed stuff.

I'd love to ride in the new setup sometime :brow: !!!

Your hatch is REALLY going to go places G! what was that trail called, firebreak, or something like that? I'm thinking, clean with style on your next run. . .

how was the tranny in that car greg?cheers, brian

I'll let him chime in with the details.

But I think it was a toasted automatic.

He had to put the FWD fuse in to even get it to move.

Far as I know that car has already been crushed as of last monday.

(we did the mad dash to strip out what we wanted that weekend. I got the seats! )

Ahh the lightweight EAs under EJ power!

Now ya just gotta get the hatch's hunger for rear axles under control.

Gonna need a dozen of them on the trail with ya with all this new power. :)
