September 16, 200817 yr will axles from a 85 xt fwd 4 speed auto fit into my 92 loyale fwd 3 speed auto? I have yet to pull the axles from the xt, and i would like to find out before i go through the trouble.
September 16, 200817 yr um.....would the XT have 25 spline DOJs? cause I know the loyale will have 23s.
October 5, 200817 yr Author nope, the xt's have the 25. I went through the trouble of pulling them, and even had the loyale on the hoist and almost finished when i found the difference.
October 5, 200817 yr Yup, your right. I went back and checked the manuals. The chart I looked at was for all EA82's except for the XT with AT. Of course it would be the oddball The MT's are 23 spline. And that info is only available in the XT FSM.
