sad and excited at the same time...

Featured Replies

first off, i'm kind of sad right now. i haven't been able to drive roo (my wagon) since the beginning of july and its been sitting at a friend's place over 1000 miles away. last time i was there roo was covered in a good layer of dust. just for kicks i tried to start her. of course she started up right away.

now for the good news. i'm moving back to idaho and thus will have the chance to clean roo up and she can take over as my DD again. i think my friends are almost more excited than i am since this means we will have a vehicle to go to the mountains, haul skateboards, longboards, snowboards, skis, mountain bikes and hunting dogs with. not to mention all the other cool things that old subaru wagons are good for.

the only thing i will miss about my current daily is the fuel mileage. but seeing as how i will be able to use a longboard for over half of my daily travels i think i'll be spending just about the same amount for fuel. (because i am from idaho and not a year-round warm state, i am used to using long boards/bikes during the winter unless it snows lol)

so expect much improvement to roo over the next 6 months or so.
