Power mirror wiring harness

Featured Replies

I recently got a set of power mirrors to put in my Brat. Along with the mirrors I have the control switch and the harness pigtails for in the doors. What I need is the harness that connects the door pigtails to the switch. Anybody have one or possibly be able to get one out of a salvage yard for me? There are no EA81's to be found in the yards around my area with power mirrors. :banghead:

I spent all afternoon with a schematic and alligator clips trying to figure out the wiring and internal working of the switch circuit board. Needless to say I wasn't able to. :banghead: I'll also post this in the "Stuff Wanted" forum.

Get me one and I'll reward you handsomely. :brow: Email or PM me.

I could see about making one for you if I had the schematics or at least help you through it. I have heard though that some of the EA81s have the harness, its just tucked away but I don't know if that was for the EA81s or EA82s, it escapes me right now.

I have found that EA82s have the harness, if not the mirrors. My 1986 originally came with the manual mirrors. The upgrade only required me to add the 2 mirrors and the switch.

What year is your brat?

On my '84 (w/ stock manual mirrors) it's tucked in behind the radio console.
