Just recently I have started to smell gas inside my wagon I have looked over the fuel lines coming out of the tank and around the engine compartment and they look fine. any ideas?

Just kidding, not sure... you said you checked all the lines? Including the lines that run under the rear seat?

Check the bolts that attach the carb to the manifold. Also check the filler tube to the tank, they sometimes develop cracks.

I didn't think they would run fuel ines inside car, tomarrow I will check under the rear side and the filler pipe.

Yep. Fuel and brake lines run under the trim on the door sill, then up the firewall. Less chance of damage to them that way.

 

Would also check the vapor canister under the hood. They have been known to give off fumes at times. Did you cap-off the float bowl vent line going to tyhe vapor canister, when you did the Weber swap? You should have.

yes, flip up the bottom of tha back seat, and you will se where the fuel lines come in from under the car.

 

check under the car, where the fuel lines run along the back seat floor pan, i have had several that were leaky due to rust.
