Well folks, finances forced the sell of a few of the greats (in my mind at least)

but i am back in the subaru world now, and quite pleased about it

i recently purchased a 2000 obw :D

it is a 5 spd, sohc 2.5, and an lsd rear

it had 90k on her when i bought it :D

she is baby hauler, wife mobile, (oh ya, while i was on my usmb vacation we had a baby boy)

anyway, here are a few pics of the car

i want to lift it 2.5 inches or so. forester struts? dont remember what those do here-dont really want to spend 900 on albies kit, even though he does live down the street from me. i dunno

missed you all-well most of you

I think Forester/Outback Struts are the same height. You can add these to a non-outback legacy to get a lift but I don't think you would get any lift at all.

I put outback struts on my non-outback Legacy to lift it. I sit higher than outback now.

I have the exact same 00 OBW, same color, same 5 spd, but 176,000 miles. As far as I know the struts for foresters are the same height. Just out of curiosity, have the head gaskets gone out yet on your car? I didn't have any problems with mine till 150,000 or so.

no headgasket issues yet, i did a little research and youre all right, obw struts are the same as forester.

I believe I recently heard on here that king springs is out of business.:-\

Forester struts also wont work on that generation outback as the rear of the forester uses a macphereson set up and the rear of the outback uses a multi link suspension.
