Exhuast leak

Featured Replies

Have the cherry bomb on my EA-82 and I didnt notice any crackling like everyone said I would get. Sure enough I check and I had a leak were the exhaust meets the cherry :( I tightened the clamp some and its almost gone. When steadily rising or idling I can barely feel the leak. However when you rev and let off the gas it shoots a small stream of air not much but I can feel it. Im scared of tightening the clamp anymore and collapsing the pipe. Would plugging this small leak increase my crackling at all or not to bother? Exhaust is 2" all the way back with no cat.

Have it welded up where the pipe meets the cherry bomb

or I bet if you even tried sealing it up with some exhaust sealer stuff that might work
