I was thinking of painting my offroad toy in military camo.Any one have any subarus done up in camo or any suggestions?

Kinda like paint by numbers.

 

Gonna do mine in kind of a black and olive drab tiger stripe sort of pattern here soon.

Thought of painting it up like an old Japanese WW2 fighter plane at one point.

I drew this up in paint about what it might look like with standard OD, black, and brown.

I supose I could change the colors around so it was either in night camo or urboan camo...

 

thats kinda cool,I guess when I turned it to a jpeg it made it look like spoiled lettuce.

I like those camo jobs down with large leaves.... grab a base color, hold leaves over the car and spray not completely around the leaves just 2/3 or so and not too thick. Varying the distance to go away from the leaf each time.

I know a guy that did that to his 83 GL Wagon.

He used fern leaves and it turned out really nice.

He even thru in some little bunnies :lol:
