I have a set of front struts with springs from the RX I parted out this winter. I have someone interested in buying them but I would like a way to verify that they were original to the RX and not from an "ordinary" GL.

Does anyone know what to look for on these? Did they use a special color of paint for the inspection marks? Do they have a part number on them?

Light blue, purple and yellow paint spots were on the springs I pulled from an RX.

Can anyone else check their paint daubs on an RX and on a non-RX?

those are the colors i remember on all 3 of the sets i have had.as do yours.........have those colors.
