Got into an accident in the RX

Featured Replies

So I was driving home there other day and was in stop and go traffic. Cars in front of me stopped... I was still going. Hit a 99 Grand Cherokee.

Fortunately, for the Cherokee, it sustained scratches on his bumper.

Unfortunately for the RX, both headlights are smashed, the lights still light up, radiator is cracked and leaking, of course the AC radiator is untouched. My slim fan is dead, the stock fan is fine. The hood, the I just finish bondoing a good scoop and stripping that on is pushed up in the front. It's not completely crumpled, but it's hard to open and close the hood.

I replaced the radiator and I have a set of head lights in my garage that I am going to put. Any hints on straightening the front radiator support and getting things to line up right again?

Sorry no pics, will take pics tomorrow.

Brakes worked. just didn't press them in time. :-\

I hit a lady in a ranger at a yeild sign. She stopped, then went, then stopped again. I was looking left, thinking she had gone, and tagged her at mabe 15mph. Bent the left front frame of my subaru, but no real cosmetic damage due to the bumper I have on the car. Rumpled her tailgate, bumper, and a taillight. The laptop that I'm typing on now was on the passenger seat and survived the accident. There were no skidmarks. She had bucket seats in the ranger, so she had a headrest. She was fine untill she called her husband, then she told the emt's her neck hurt all of a sudden.

She came back a year later with a lawer, and got 200k out of my insurance company because she had pain in her left thumb due to the accident.

Pray that the person in the cherokee has more honesty.

 and pray that when you get married, it's to someone who'll keep you MORE honest instead of less.
