no, it's where the lower rad hose bolts yo the engine.

 

what model & year, 60 chevy pickup? :lol:

It is on the drivers side lower radiator hose right below the timing belt plastic. You should be able to replace it in under 10 minutes tops.

If possible I'd position the car in the best position to burp it after you re-add the coolant.

:confused: D'OH! I was looking topside and saw what appeared to be a T-stat housing. I'll drop the belly pan and peek again. Yes, I got factory parts. I ought to be used to wasting money; my other car is an Oldsmobile!:grin:
