Two or Three Core Radiator?

Featured Replies

Anyone found a two or even three row radiator that is built for a '97 Impreza OBS? If so does it have all the bolt holes for the fans? Does it actually fit with the fans on?

I'd like to get a multicore radistor but it's gotta fit and work as well.

Thanks!

You're wanting a larger radiator for offroading? Might just wait for the stock one, it might do fine? I don't think larger radiators do anything for the car since the thermostat regulates the engine temperature. A larger radiator only does something if it's needed. You're a smart cat so you probably already know that, but maybe for future folks that see this.

Not larger as in height or width. I was wanting one with more than a single core.

When the thermostat does open it cools off more quickly and can fend off heat soak.

It's not really necessary but now is the time to upgrade when I'm already replacing it =)

You dont want to dump heat, you want consistant temps for best running.

I would stay with the factory spec radiator, they do a really good job.

How about for an '05 turbo Baja? For my use, I need to dump more heat. The thermostat regulates the temp fine, until I work it hard and consistently. At that point, the stock cooling system just can't dump enough heat to keep up. Any sources?
