I have a general question, I am looking at an 87 xt turbo for sale, the seller said the engine is rebuilt, the turbo rebuilt and a new chip, but the vehicle does not run correctly. It has been into a subaru shop but he said they can not figure out what is wrong with the vehicle. Any input on this, thanks

This vehicle sounds familiar.

I've either seen the for sale ad, or someone has posted about it looking for help.

If I remember, the problem was fixed.

BUT, without any more info about the problem with this car, I dont see how we could be of any help.

Agreed.... "does not run correctly" is worthless. Can't help you.

I will say that the EA82T is the most problematic engine Subaru ever made. You will tear your hair out owning one.

GD

Lowball him, tear out the motor, and find yourself something nice to put under the hood. Like an EJ25T. :P

(but that's just my opinion.)
