I've looked into this before and couldn't find many decent reviews. I imagine it's because performance minded folks are buying them, not folks like me wanting to put one in a daily driver. I saw too many issues with them to pull the trigger on it. It was probably not the product so much as the installers and useage they get put through, but without any clarification I wasn't going to chance it on a daily driver.

thanks for the input GrossGary I do drive the Baja everyday and Xcountry I may still try it if I can have spare parts on shelf for a melt down! There are no new car wrecking yards in Salmon but will start my stock pile when I get back to Mainland. Cheers

Not Subaru experience, but back in 2001 or 2002 we put a phantom grip in a buddy's son's turbo Neon. It workked just like advertised.

There was a lot of discussions on different boards about the pressure it exerts on the pinion gears and their ultimate demise, but up to the point that Neon died, ( about 2007 ) it was still working.

No lie, on a FWD transaxle, it was a lot of work. I think at that time he paid just over $100 for it.
