Radiator verification- and tranny

Featured Replies

So there is an 87 GL sedan carb'd locally being parted out, and i need a radiator for my 90 Loyale wagon. I checked Auto zone website and it says they are the same radiator between those years. Just wanted someone to confirm this if possible. Thanks! Oh and just for fun, will his 5spd DR tranny bolt in? :slobber:

Yes it's the same radiator as long as it's non turbo i believe. You can bolt in the transmission, but I'm not sure if the loyale kept the mounting points for linkage and everything someone else will know better though

There is no difference to how the linkage mounts between a 5 speed single range and a 5 speed D/R. The Loyale will take the 5 D/R with no modifications other than the interior consoles and possibly some wiring.
