January 27, 200422 yr Where should I run extra grounds on my 1987 GL-10 turbo sedan FT4WD? Should I go to the engine block or the chassis? Also, would it be better to get another ground wire entirely for the negative cable, or is there a secure way of attaching extra grounds with the factory cable? Thanks, Tom
January 27, 200422 yr I'm currently sifting through my harness removing stuff I no longer want. I'm impressed by how many times they ground the harness to the chassis. Grounds connect with other grounds and they all head for the chassis! I think you'd be ok grounding to the chassis like the factory does. I also think you'd be ok connecting to any factory ground wire as they all ground to the chassis. For what it's worth. Glenn, 82 Summer, almost wired........ 01 Forester, bent but not broken!
