Parts car parts painting

Featured Replies

I going to be pulling some parts from a donor, the include

  1. Shocks and struts
  2. Springs
  3. Steering Rack
  4. Power steering pump
  5. Power steering reservoir
  6. AC Compressor
  7. Alternator (Looks new but its a Hitachi?)
  8. Air Flow sensor
  9. air intake box

I was wanting to clean up and restore everything I could before installing them into my daily driver. What paint would be adequate for these parts that would take the heat? Should I just use some engine enamel for the engine bay parts and some regular spray paint for the suspension and steering rack.

Try looking at VHT by Dupli-Color. They have a wide range of paints (Alot for high heat) And cool colors and textures.. VHTpaint.com, you can buy it at mostly any autoparts store.
