August 26, 200916 yr Has anyone here tried one of these out? I go through tires like underware and im tired of paying money. http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/cta...emnumber=34542
August 30, 200916 yr I've got one... Ended up bending the poll thing you use, just cut it and used a piece of pipe to sleve it and fixed. No good for onroad cars, as you need to still balance them. And just to have that done, for me at least, costs pretty much the same as getting a shop to change and balance them. For their price, probably a good thing to have if you do a lot of offroading.

September 3, 200916 yr Looks like alot of work, i'd rather just pay a pro to do it. Unless you are swapping tires every other weekend or something. And i bet with a bit of lube, that guy wouldn't be trying to wreck his back?
September 4, 200916 yr as stated, lube on the last side of the tire to go on the rim will not help, cause it will not allow the bead to stick to the rim it will just slide round and round.
