August 28, 200916 yr I'm tired of searching...someone post a link to a write-up for doing the 5 lug swap. I have a 1991 Loyale Sedan and want to be able to run wrx wheels and have disc brakes...possibly brembos help please
August 28, 200916 yr Author so am I going to have to order different brakes each time?...Why doesn't GC8 stuff fit in the rear?

August 28, 200916 yr Author why not go crossbred http://www.crossbredperformance.com/ I am checking on his pricing.
August 29, 200916 yr Author not cheap as in...? Its gonna take me a while to find all the parts to do it on my own so it may be worth the money...we will see
August 29, 200916 yr The us dollar seems strong compared to aussie dollar, and these kits are good quality.(I will get one when I have the dollars), anyway its another option.

August 30, 200916 yr Author lol...he replied and told me it was expensive...wtf...what is expensive... oh and the ************ing car just quit running so who knows whats gonna happen. I put a deposit down on a 2003 bugeye so I may be out of the oldies soon I'll miss her though
August 30, 200916 yr Author here is what he sent me "My kits retail in Australia for $1100.00AUS plus post and i require a set of front lower control arms and a set of rear NON ABS Legacy or Impreza backing plates exchange. I am however prepared to offer you the same as i have offered other people in America. Postage to America last time i sent a kit over was i think about $260.00 AUS. I will sell you a kit for $1000.00 AUS plus $200.00 AUS postage with no exchanges, so that is $1300.00 AUS posted and no exchanges needed. Let me know if that suits and we can go from there. Jeff PS I would love to get a few more kits into the States"

August 30, 200916 yr I put a deposit down on a 2003 bugeye so I may be out of the oldies soon I'll miss her though I support this decision. You say your wanting WRX wheels and brembos, STi brembos I assume. I fail to see the reason for wanting such a high performance braking system on a loyale. Have you checked the price of brembos, better yet pads for them? I would take the money you are about to drop for a 5 lug kit from Australia and put a good deposit down on the bugeye. You will already have the WRX wheels and dual piston front calipers so that way your already ahead.
August 31, 200916 yr Man another 5-lug swap thread????? I'm finally getting tired of posting up info every couple months. First off, getting a crossbreed kit would be awesome, IF we lived in Australia. Not dissin on the aussie guys but they have the kit down there for a reason. They can't get parts at all unless they get shipped from the US or so. Now, search. I've posted up numerous times, info on the 5-lug conversion. i've done many, done it many different ways and know of many other things to do, such as brembos, suspension and whatnot.
