air/fuel sensor

Featured Replies

A few days ago I brought my car into a subaru dealer. i explained the problem i was havingn they said it was common and told me i needed a fuel/air ratio sensor. I have searched and searched the internet for this part and have come up with nothing. Has anyone heard of this part or know if it has a different name?

Also, maybe someone can give me an opinion on the problem im haveing. I put my foot on the gas and there is a very quick surge of power, it kind of bucks me forward. Then when i take my foot off the gas it does the opposite and bucks back a bit. Has anyone experienced this? Any info would be great, thanks.

Year model transmission and mileage please.

A?F sensor = O2 sensor.

It's a stick. Sorry I thought you wanted to know what tranny I had. Im new to the whole forum thing.

Any Check Engine lights on?

Its a bit early for an O2 sensor to be bad, but not unheard of. How much did they quote you on it. How is your gas mileage?
