I watched a program on discovery or something about the USSR messing around with ground effect aircraft/ships. They were HUGE, and skimmed over the surface of the ocean, the site says they have problems getting out of the water read Big freakin Engine for take off.

The wierd one with the 8 jet engines on the front is the one that I am thinking of, longer than a football field!!!!
