Hmm,another question would be; How easy would it be to remove the rest of the decals?,and could it be done without messing up the paint? I wouldn't mind just pulling the decals off,the fender is the exact same color as the rest of the car otherwise and I'm in the process of making my outback stand out a bit from the 1000 or so others driving around my town. I bought one last year and people must have seen me having fun in it,now they're everywhere.

I'[m not sure exactly what to call it,but i had to replace my outback's left front fender with donior from a legacy l of the same color. This would be fine except it's missing the grey vinyl decal or whatever it is that runs along the body of the car,my question is where can I find the grey decals at so I can make this fender match up with th rest of the car?

A replacement front bumper for my 96 outback? Please don't suggest 1stsubaruparts as I tried to place an order with them before only to have it never completed, billed or shipped. No one has one at any local junkyards and I really need another badly. Also theoretically I would think one of a regular Legacy/Legacy GT would work,is that a correct assumption? If so where would I get one?Any help is appreciated.

Thanks for the site and info, although I think for the price difference involved I'd rather go for a JDm low milage engine...both listed for $300 are 130k+ miles vs. 25-60k. I know the mileage doesn't mean everything as the old 2.2 ran strong at 199k miles, although it consumed a good deal of oil,but I figure a lower mileage motor should last me unti the car falls apart which is as long as I intend to keep it. I almost don't have a preference of which I get,but a 2.5 actuallyhas some things available for it where the 2.2 apparantly doesn't and I'd like a little more power at some point in the future. It also seemed to me that the 2.2's might be harder to find as they seem to be more in demand and less produced than 2.5's.

So,long story short got my clutch replaced and then a few days after getting it back my coolant reservoir mysteriously falls off while I'm driving and now I'm the proud owner of a 2.2 l fused peice of aluminum. My question since I'll be replacing the engine anyway is how easily will a 2.5 go in to the car in place of the stock 2.2?,is there any modification involved or anything like that? And also, will it work with my 5 spd manual transmission without troubles?

Uh,where did you get it,what car is it for?,how much was it?,can you get another if it'll fit a legacy outback and it's cheap? -
I love how controllable my OBW is while sliding actually,I was drifting around some turns the other day and my passenger never even noticed. You just have to be smooth and prescise with the throttle and you shouldn't have too many problems, any situation where you take the load off of the wheels you're definately going to slide one way or another I've noticed though.
