  1. 2wd to 4wd parts interchange?

    I need to know if the front drive axles, cv joints and all that kind of stuff can interchange between 2wd and 4wd. I have an 81 s/r 4wd DL wagon and I need cv's and other misc. parts. Will cv's (specifically) interchange? I'm considering buying a similar vintage (probably83 or 84) wagon parts car to pull stuff from. I need to know...my right front joint is making losts of noise. Thanks, Jason
