Yes ma'am. These are very reasonable fears. Infact, by law, I think you are entitled to recieve the vehicle back in the condition it was in before the accident occured. This is probably something you should contact your insurance company about, unless they're the ones paying. I assume the teenager had insurance and that his/her insurance company is paying for the repairs.

I need air

If you're going to get one, get the Cobb Tuning intake. Cobbtuning.com. Be careful, Subaru has a funny MAF sensor and aftermarket intakes have been known to turn them to sh it in a hurry. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the OEM MAF sensor is over like $200. -Chris -

I found this for you on NASIOC. "The stock BOV is more of a ABV. ie an Air Bypass Valve. When at vacumn, ie not on boost, the valve is open and allows air to go "forwards" by bypassing the turbo/supercharger into the throttle body. When at boost, the BOV closes up, allowing boost to be built, then when you let off the gas, the vacumn takes back over, the valve opens up again and the excess pressure (boost) bleeds back off to before the supercharger/turbocharger, basically equalizing the pressure of the system." So, yes it is a recirculating BOV. -

I don't know about that. I think that the stock BOV just isn't noisy enough for you to hear over road noise and/or engine noise. I'm no expert though, I've only gathered this info from more seasoned WRX owners on bulletins such as this one. -

No, You shouldn't. Infact this is one thing that most young kids will do first is put an aftermarket BOV on to showcase their turbo. This actually robs HP. -Chris -
I'm trying to remove my driver side door panel. I have a rattle in it but I can't get it off. I removed the two screws and popped all the plastic clips out but it still seems stuck. I feel it's requiring an excesive amount of force and I don't want to break anything. Anyone ever done this before? Tips or tricks? The car is an '04 TS wagon. Thanks in advance -Chris

I haven't even checked my fuse box yet. I'll do that tonight. Hopefully that's all it is. -
My interior power outlet for the lighter went out last weekend. I was wondering if it could just be a fuse? It was running a radar detector and a cell phone charger. The splitter came apart in the receptacle and I think it may have shorted it out and blew the fuse, if there is infact a fuse for it. Every other electrical component seems to be functioning inside the vehicle. My car is an '04 TS wagon. Thanks -Chris

Thanks Jamie. One more question though. Is that 1" after they settle or 1" initial drop? This car is my daily driver so I don't want to lower it a full inch. Is there any other options out there? Just trying to close the wheel gap a bit and get a stiffer ride. I'm going to do sway bars and end links first, but I will need springs eventually.
