  1. for the wiper motor, check the white connectors inside the hatch, when my defroster quit working and i checked the plugs in the hatch, they were melted and caused a bad connection. Your wiper motor may have done the same thing. As for the headlight, the most likely cause for that is the high-beam element may have burned out, you can check by removing the bulb and looking into it, there are two elements in there one high one low, if one is discolored or obviously burnt replace it.
  2. look for winterforce M+S they are the most aggressive 13's ive found, i have them on my car and they rule in the mud, i assume they are excellent in snow too hence the name. here is a pic, check them out.http://www.tirerack.com/images/tires/firestone/fs_winterforce_ci1_l.jpg here is a sidewall pic, http://www.tirerack.com/images/tires/firestone/fs_winterforce_ci2_l.jpg
  3. you probably also know Barry Buhr, Eric Christoferson, Ben Olson, Jack Boyd. ~Jeff Seim (AKA "CRUISE" IN D TOWN)
  4. Do you have the cargo caver? would wou want to part with it?
  5. What would you recomend for tires?
  6. Yeah a few dents and dings but nothing major.
  7. Yes it is time! im getting a lift within the next month or so, i just bought some really kick ***** aggressive 13" tires, so pug's and 27's will have to wait till after christmas.
  8. Thanks everyone for the help:grin: I finally fixed it! It was the right side connector in the hatch that looked ok, but i looked a little closer and it was melted and caused the contacts to seperate. So i just cut it out of there and replaced it with a bell cap and it works. Thanks Again!
  9. did you buy it from hayes subaru? are they making snow up at spirit yet? god i miss it there, i want to move back.
  10. Frazee huh, I have a few friends that grew up there to, and also lived in duluth. Josh Skrove and tyler mcrae do you know them?
  11. I tested for voltage at the back today, no voltage which narrows it down to either a shorted wire or a bad output side of the relay. do i have to remove the headliner to trace the wires, or does anyone know where they actually run?
  12. Those are really cool, is that real leather on the bolsters? What year/model were those from?
  13. I cant get out right now and test voltage on the wires but i can tell you that the relay, switch and dash light are fine.
  14. I found the relay and it clicks fine and gets warm when the switch is on for a short period of time, the others are headlights, hazards, blinkers, etc..... still no warmth at the glass.
  15. Are there any distinct markings on the relay, that would help a bit.
  16. I came up with the idea of bolting a stainless steel toilet grab bar to my bumper and then drilled it out for the driving lights, it looks good and works great. here's a pic. also added a rear fog today using the factory roof rails, it kicks rump roast:brow: [/url] here is another shot.
  17. I tested voltage drop at the grid, it zero's out which means no problems there, fuses are fine, what else is there?. I doubt that the wiring is bad, it is a 93 with 80k any other ideas? i also checked drop in between each line across the window, they all check out ok.
  18. I have heard that subaru in White Bear Lake does a good job, But they probably charge 70+ an hour.
  19. yeah i definitly want more video, and want to get out as much as i can before there is no hope of mud, just snow.
