  1. Oh yes, my SVX always is a challenge See you guys next time!
  2. Had a great time, even though I didn't bring a Subaru like you all. Great photos!
  3. Glad to hear that there are others who are interested/planning on going. I plan to be there in my Claret SVX with another new engine and a 5 speed conversion, among other things. I am planning on camping at least one night.
  4. You'll be able to swap the cruise stalks easily if needed. I did so on my SVX.

  6. I know it may be early for some, but I was wondering if there were any members here interested in going to Carlisle this year. I may try to get a group together, depending on interest. I know some of you from last year do not want to go back, but maybe there are some people in the Tri State area that would be interested in a couple nights of camping and a car show.
  7. Both of the beater wagons I had were 280k +. These were two wagons I bought as dedicated pine barrens machines. The first, a 1997 Outback, had nearly 281k on the clock, and ran like a champ, though the headgaskets were completely shot. I sold it for parts when the trans started acting up. The second was a 95 Brighton with about 297k on the clock. It was parted out when the clutch failed, and the body was... well... damaged. . I still have the motor and the suspension
  8. I too had a great time. I definitely plan on being there at Carlisle next year, as it seemed like a great venue (if it wasn't raining). Maybe that lady won't be there next year? :-\ Either way, I'd come again with my Claret.
  9. Ok ok ok I get the message! Barring any catastropic circumstance, I will arrive Friday night.
  10. I hear what you are saying. I am having second thoughts also because I havent been able to put in my reman steering rack. Then again, I do have NJ inspection now, so maybe I should take it out... Im just really protective of it.
  11. I'm not sure if I'm going to make this. I'm a little hesistant because of the weather. :-\
  12. Yeah... My car has been driven only once since Reading and it could use a bath, though its normally covered when outdoors. It should look okay though.
  13. Matt, Save me a spot next to your SVX for my Claret. Ill have my detailer, microfibers, etc. The car is far from perfect and there are a few issues and details which I still have to address. Also, is there a car wash close by? I'll be arriving around 11PM-Midnight Friday (have a wedding to go to) and staying until Sunday.
  14. I plan to arrive Friday night (late) will bring my Claret. Its somewhat ready: http://i305.photobucket.com/albums/nn208/SubaruMike/DSCN2480.jpg http://i305.photobucket.com/albums/nn208/SubaruMike/DSCN2480.jpg
  15. Sounds good. I thought about picking up another car for the Pines, but I think Im strapped atm...:-\
  16. The 28th sounds good. Now, if only I had a car to get dirty...
  17. I would check with the dealer to see if the problem is covered under warranty. My stepmothers friend had bought an 03 with 66k secondhand and after going to the dealer Subaru did the head gaskets under warranty as part of the campaign. Its worth a shot, because it could cost you nothing.
  18. I am doing the timing belt on my 92 legacy right now and I noticed my cam is damaged. I have ej18 parts here in shop and was wondering if the cam from that is the same before I pull it out. Anyone know? Thanks
  19. This particular spot is not in Wharton, but on a relatively small area, commonly referenced as "Frenchie's Pit" near RT9 in Little Egg Harbor. We do go to Wharton and Stafford Forge regularly as well, and we will hit a few favorite spots this coming Sunday.
  20. Hehe. Mine is an L so it was sitting on steelies :-p until I found these cheap take-offs to spice it up a bit. It has only 73,500 on it as well. It many obstacles without instance, and it is sitting a bit lower than stock on 2006 WRX suspension.
