I have a wrecked xt6 with 37,000 miles I got for almost free :banana: thats why i was thinking of the swap but if i have to cut the car up it is not going to happen our touring wagon is just too nice for that so i guess i'll just rebuilted the Ea82 xt mpfi non turbo motor i have to run as strong i can

  2. First off its been sitting for about ten years so we cleaned the tank out changed the fuel pump and fliters new battery and so on still no go it has fire is in time has fuel to the fuel rail 13.08 volts on both pins on the injectors but no run

     

    oh the led light is not flashing on the ecm i can't figure out why but the fuel pump still cycles with the ing. switch on could the ecm be bad if so what years will interchange? 85,86 turbo maybe

  3. maybe your right i don't know but its odd thats all i'm saying by the way the center lamp does work and the winch is the 5000 pound northern tool has with a home made remote control. oh for the record if any one wants to keep a stockish look the stock bumper ends fit the 4in channel bumpers i made that way the local law don't write you up on bumper laws in TN when is finished. The bull bar and roll bars are moded copies of the stock ones i made their made from 2 sc40 cold roll for the bull bar and 3in sc40 for the roll bar if any one needs help in my area make their own i 'll be gald to help

  4. its a 82 orginal from AZ and is GL the center lamp is orginal all the wiring is and factory the title says its a 82 the vins all match body dash door jam

    i've owned this one two times now and for almost 5 years this time and i think i am going to keep it this time

     

    oh by the way it was a 4spd s/r when i first got it in 2001

     

     

    ps the power steering is my doing from a rotted out Turbo wagon in dogtown junkyard castlewood va

  5. Fuseable links are NOT as cheap as normal fuses...either Fast blow or slow blow.

     

    That and you gotta rememeber that me and JWX have like...50% of the old school subies in the south east...the rest...either long gone, owned and running...or missing fuseable links.

     

    If have 50% will I have the other half

     

    2 rx 3doors

    1 rx 4door

    8 wagons

    2 hatches one ejed

    and brat with a nuff parts laying around to build 10 more

  6. 1986 5spd d/r wagon all orginal and still running with 574,000 on it

I got a odd one for you my 88 3 door cel is on when its cold say 40f when first start it up in the morning to leave for work but when i leave for lunch break it goes off so, what do you think it is I haven't had the time to pull the codes yet but i will this weekend in til then i'll drive the rs

    your going to put this trans in a n/a EA 82 xt aren't you it will pull down on hill 5th then (but thats in stock form I don't know what you have done to yours so, its up to how torque it makes below 3500rpm) but that said mine will pull down on a very steep long hill (it handles hills not the interstate fine there is one stetch highway that i travel often i do have to down shift on aka us 19 between abington va & leban va.) but I just down shift 4th and it can just about peg the speedo out going up hill :eek: but that with 155hp 167tq at the flywheel

     

    oh by the way how fast are your xts and xt6s
