I hit a curb/median dead on at 45mph in my 92 legacy when I fell asleep at the wheel (trying to work full time and do newspaper delivery is tough). went up and over the median, hit the back wheel, and over. Ripped the front tire, snapped the front alloy, bent the control arm and strut, broke sway bar mounts, dented the exhaust, dented/scraped the underside of the unibody and bent the rear alloy. It even hit so hard that the paint at the top of the strut tower flaked a little from the impact. After replacing the strut and control arm and throwing my spare wheels on it, I was back on the road with about $80 in junkyard parts, and the alignment was able to be set accurately still

Yes I am pretty much taking the risk of leaving it this way for now. It isnt really the money, I just dont have time to set aside right now for me and my limited tools to eat up to do this job. Yes I am and have been taking a risk. The wear appears to be pretty consistent across the belt, doesnt look like there is an obvious weak spot (my last belt started fraying on one side before its demise). I definitely want to get this done before winter though, dont want to be messing with this with cold fingers

Of course there is the Impreza, which has a completely different feel to it. Think small rally car. Steering and suspension is more crisp and sporty as opposed to the more luxury tuned legacy. That and of course the cargo area is much smaller in an Impreza wagon vs a Legacy wagon. The Impreza is more like a 5 door hatchback than a wagon IMO

95 Imoreza AWD 171k miles.. When I bought the car the brake rotors were so warped the side to side shaking would cause this weird loose feeling, like two parts were smacking each other somewhere in the steering. fixed brakes but noticed I get same feeling going over railroad tracks at an angle. normal driving I feel nothing. very spirited driving feels fine. I can go over speed bumps and not feel it. I am not sure what to check or if this is even really a major problem.

Since I bought my car I have noticed that the key doesnt seem to engage smoothly, as in I usually have to wiggle it to unlock the doors and trunk and occasionally to start the car. It is the original key and I have only that key, no others. I assume wear on the key its self is causing this not worn or dirty locks. Can I get a new key ordered/made by taking it to a dealer so they can pull vin code or something, or is calling a locksmith a better idea?
