yea i would say that it was sponced by them aye. that was an very good hill climb car haha i like that flat 12 motor. when that motor was sold it was fitted into that race boat they kept working on it and made it reliable i think also wasnt subaru going to build another f1 engine and car? i heard they were going to try again and see if they have better suscess with it. heard about that about 3 years ago in an motoring artical

i no an guy that brought a very rare homologated RX2 leone. came from factory like that. it was good till the engine packed up. it went very well round dunedin area that has lots of steepish hills and in winter can be very slipery and snowy at times in winter. when it packet up he got an replacement engine and that wuldnt work rite coz the computer was different and the clutch went and orded the new one and clutch was different from normal rx2 and the cvs were much bigger2. i think they mite had been xt6 1s? but if that car is still round im going to see if i can pick it up for parts

would it mater if the leone back axle is an 4wd 1 or not? i do all have parts from an 84 front wheel drive 1 to just got to find where they are.

yea my coupe has 1600 in it. had it since the 80s or earlyer. it was 1 of the cars that got replacement engine put in it by subaru for no cost to the orignal owner. my yellow sedan still has 1400 engine in it

cool ive got parts from my old fwd leone i stripped down aye. my 1400 is fitted with EA71 motor its got the right addapter bell housing. but i wana go with 5spd gearbox in it

haha yea get them all converted to right hand drive they are expensive like ment to be about $NZ 70,000

so nothing really has to alted to fit it in? im also going to use an ea71 motor in it also. i had heard of an guy that fitted 1 in and it was an tight fit as well as he had 2 modify something?

looks like they are going to release the tribeca here in nz now. i wonder if they will come from the states or wheather they would be assembled and imported from somewhere else?

has any 1 put an 5 speed gearbox into an 1400 coupe? i know it has been done? just wondering what has to be done and how hard would it be to do?
