What part of WA did that car come from? Because that car looks very much like a guys car that his girlfriend lived in the same apt. complex(I lived in WA less then a year ago but now I live in western WI). He was asking $500.00 for it when I saw it. Just curious!! Joe

I pulled it in the garage this afternoon and it is the brakes the first thing that happened after I pulled the wheel off was the brake pad fell on the floor. The rotor looks pretty bad but I hope I can use the old caliper. Thanks for all the replys. Joe

I have an 88 gl wagon and the other day going down the road the right front wheel locked up and skid the car to a complete stop, it will not move at all(even in four wheel drive). My question is do you think the brakes locked up or that the cv joint may have broke and locked it up? I'm going to tear into it in either Fri. or Sat. as soon as I can figure out how to get it into the garage. Thanks, Joe

My cruise control just stopped working. When you push the botton on the dash the light comes on but when you try to set it at speed nothing. Its a 88 gl wagon with 1.8, auto and 177,000 miles. Any ideas on what went wrong. Thanks in advance, Joe

Will a CD player from a newer Subaru go right in where my tape deck is on my 88 GL? Figure I can get one from salvage cheap. JL

Anyone in western WI on in the twin cities area who has changed there axles on there rigs. I've never done it before and wondered if anyone is willing to give me a hand. Mine is an 88 gl wagon and I want to change both sides. Thanks in advance, Joe

Think I got it figured out the top of my cover over the spfi was sunk down in and not getting enough air through. I lifed it up and now it seems to be fine. It was down about an inch and half. JL

Its a 88 GL wagon 88 model engine w/176,000 miles and I believe it is SPFI but I'm not sure. JL

What would be the reason for rough idle after my car get warm its a 1.8 w/FI. It seems like everything else is normal starts great and runs good but doesn't like idling when warm. Thanks, Joe

My roommate had his car jacked right out in front of the house in the driveway. It was found 2 weeks later on a side street when they couldn't open the gas cap and it ran out of gas. Joe
