  8. I'm no expert but I just put some axles in my XT6. Is the pin still in the end of the axle or did it fall out some how. Look there first and if the pin is still in there then the axle may have broke. If the pin fell out then get a new roll pin and it should go right back together. Joe
  9. That really stinks I'm sorry to hear that. I haven't had that happened to me yet(cross my fingers). I try to only use those manuals for general stuff. Joe

  11. I just changed out both my axles on my 88 GL wagon and I put one new ball joint in because when I took the axle out if just fell apart. So just check and see if they are tight and if there are I would leave them in there if there loose change them out. Joe

  19. Have any of you ever seen this website I ran across tonight. It allows you to search the junkyard stock from your computer. Seemed pretty cool but runs pretty slow(at least on my computer). http://www.qrpgl.com/asp/vehicles/Default.asp Joe

  22. My car had that clicking noise like that with the brakes and a few days later the brakes locked up. So I would have a look at your brake pads. CV's from my experiance really won't click going straight until there just about to break. I just put a set in my wagon and I few days before they broke they where clicking while going straight. BTW I got over 10,000 mile on my cv axles from the first time I heard them click. Joe
  23. Thanks those are good things to know. Joe
