you really dont need power steering on that car its un nessissary unless you're disabled. i have an 87 RX it came with ps the pump was almost shot so i tookk it off. handels much beter you can feel the road so much beter with out it. and its not hard to handle. i'd save the trouble and take it out.

probably best to go with oe equiptment u can get some spicer bearings for a little more, beter then buying china manufactured crap. they'll last longer.

what also works good is running it straight pipe, usualy stock y pipe to 2 or 2 1/4 i did it in my 85 hatch and it sounded sick and had lots of nut sack. make sure u run it out the back.

Whats up every one. My name is Lawrence, I,am new to the board I ,am an absolute Subaru finanitc. or junkye whatever. I am a mechanic in Eugene OR I live breathe and race rally. an extream gear head I currently own 2 Subarus an 87 RX and an 85 Hatch. I might have met some of you at WCSS 6 in 2004 I had the only blue Hatch with double dune flags hanging off the back. It was an awesome show. Anyway I thought I would introduce my self and make some friends here. MY friends and I ([HTI] Subacrew) are always messing with Subarus and we will see all of you WCSS 8, hope to see you there and thanks for having we on USMB.

I would say atleast some beafy all season tires. I have an 87 RX but I dont think I would want to take it up there, there too nice to trash dude. thats what my hatch is fore. but hopefully i,ll see you up there.

That looks Bad rump roast, hopefully I can get my hatch up there. my buddies and me are headed to WCSS in Aug, I,am takeing my RX and want to take the hatch as well. were also bringing an 87 GL10 an 82 Brat and possibly an 81 waggon.We cant wait, Subaru Hell yea.

Thats a sweet find, i,am sure i will find some wheels somewhere. By the way that hatch looks sweet. I have an 85 hatch thats completly trashed but it runs like a champ. was rally crossing it then I rolled it and now its a thrashing rig. yours looks killer, hope ypu have fun with it, thanks for the info
