Are you able to get a good picture or scan of the 4WD Turbo stickers? They aren't available any more in Germany, maybe someone here can plot new ones out of the original.

I have a questions about GLs before 86.. I have a 85 wagon with DR (I think you'd call it touring wagon) and it has a choke.. was it not available in US versions? Kai btw.. I don't know any DL or GL from any year with EA82 engine and without power steering.. sounds like a list options what you'd like to have in the car

Hello, if you need a wiring diagram I can mail it to you, I would start with the vacuum compressor and give power on it manually to check if the vacuum switch, the engine and all valves are running. I already had a problem with the vacuum switch, I repaired it with some tape Kai

Yes, it's quite expensive, I asked in USA and I could get it for 220$, in Germany Subaru wants originally 230€, so quite more in $... Maybe somebody has something... I drive the car only a few hundred kilometers a year as a car for sundays so that I didn't want to spend that much money into it...

Hi there, I've got a problem with my old 3AT in my 1986 Sedan, because of missing technical English expiriences I can't explain it exactly, so I'll try it with pictures. In the middle, as you can see, there are missing teeth, because it went without oil. This normally doesn't happen as my automatic transmission expert told me, the car has run 55000km (about 33500 miles) and stood long times so that the oil went down in the transmission. Because of the missing teeth the part on the left in the background wich is for switching the 3 speeds doesn't work any more. Here another description from the Subaru software: http://l1800turbo.funpic.de/Sedan_Automatikgetriebe.pdf it's the part labeled with '1'. The original part number is: 31450AA021. It seems that nobody here in Germany has kept parts from the 3AT with carburetor engine , so I ask if anybody of you has got an old transmission or parts of it he wouldn't need any more.. It's just the one thing wich needs to be ok.. I can also swap with other Subaru parts from here, if somebody is interested. Thanks in Advance, Kai

Hi there, I wanted to post into a very old thread, but I found it while I was reading a little bit in the forum.. well... it's ME who made that "murder" with that car.. but let me tell you some reasons. First, the car was very old and rusty, I found it on ebay and thought about buying it, parting it out, so I bought it, because I needed a good turbo engine. Before I could part that car out I still waited a year because I didn't want to put it away.. The body of the car which was not as rusty as the rest was planned for a XT so I had to take the whole floor off it. You in the USA say it was a murder what I made with that car, but in Germany people say why I work so much for these cars, they're old and have to go to scrap. Other people wouldn't spend time on it for parting out ... Another reason is that I still have nearly EVERY part of that car, only the rusty metal had to go away.. and it didn't make me happy to put the car away... I try to get every car around me, so that useful parts can be used and not that the whole car has to go away. Unfortunalety nearly nobody is interested in this Subaru any more. In the US, I know, there are still many who like that car, but if I want to resell a car nobody in Germany would buy it, only people who have no money for a car or people who need the 4WD and use it as tool who noboy looks after. But if anyone here is interested in European parts, I'd be very pleased, I've got too much parts, but I don't want to put them away.. btw, I AM interested in US parts. So.. maybe you'll ask yourselves why I tell so much.. I just wanted to mention that there are also people in Europe who love these cars, also I wanted to say that you can get parts here. I hope you understood me with my German-English mix... hi, I'm looking for a wiring diagram for the Subaru cruise control (~1987-89) because it's not printed in the European books. Maybe someone already scanned wiring diagrams from the repair manual. thanks

I got one email from you...do you mean another one??? I'll look for those wheels. They're often on XTs and Turbos here in Germany. If I find some cheap ones I'll mail you...

the 15" wheels only destroy anything if there is really no air in (like on my Sedan...) but for normal cars there's no problem... I'm going to look for 14" wheels. Maybe I'll find some cheap ones and shipping will also be no problem if you're able to wait 6 weeks...

the center console looks good, how much do you want to have for it? I also can look for other wheels. Maybe also my gold wheels. But only if I can't get a certificate for it. But theres one problem, if your car has air suspension and theres no air in the wheels press into the metal...because of their size. Do you mean pics of the wheels? I can make some and put them on my homepage...

in my opinion the bumpers from the US cars look not so good the front one is too long and our German ones have a cleaner for the lights (don't know the right word..."Scheinwerfer"). But the interior of the US cars is better you have cruise control, air condition, trip computer and so on... So, I'm going to check out the price for shipping. For the steering wheel and the spoilers. But I don't can say that you really can get the spoilers...´ should I look for some 14" wheels for you? maybe I can get some cheap... the XT6 has 5 lug wheels? so I need to look for these...I can get wheels whose look like my 14" wheels. But they're 15" an built for the Legacy.... But if you look for other wheels you'll find other ones than for Peugeot. At the moment are on my Sedan 15" gold alloys...they look nice...but I don't have a certificate for it so I can't use them on the road... aah...the red Sedan isn't a RX. It's a Turbo no GL and no GL-10, we have the name Turbo for our Turbos.....

yes, it would be good if you have a picture of the console. I could use it for my brown internieur of I try to color it in blue for my blue Turbo...the console is not so big so shipping will be ok. Do you mean this with plastic: I don't know if I can ship you them. A friend from Fran already wants to have them. If he doesn't want them any more you can have them. It's not easy to give them away, but I know what it means to get nowhere parts you need... You can get them cheaper in the US, because they're big and expensive to ship. You might have to look for 88 and 89 RX Sedan. A 88 RX Sedan with spoilers is in the attached file. The American spoilers look a little bit different. Maybe the spoilers I have are also available in the US. They're original Subaru Accessoires. The steering wheel is made by MOMO and has got a Subaru label and I've got a certificate that I'm allowed to use it in my Subarus. I don't know if you also need it. The 14" wheels are also the Subaru wheels you could get on a new Subaru. I was looking for the wheels for a long time so I want to keep them . But I can take a look for the wheels and tell you when I find some. They are more to see here in Germany. We have not many Subaru alloy wheel types (2, I guess) the one was only available on a 90 XT Turbo (I got two of them in eBay for 1,-- € ). The other type are the 14" wheels. You only need to tell me if I should look for them... There are so much parts we never had in Germany, but I didn't know that we have so much parts wich weren't available in the US. correct me for mistakes....

what body kit do you mean? the spoilers? they are the same like on the RX 4-door... or do you mean other things?

Thanks for helping! I got the 85 SuperStation (Touring Wagon) for 1€... Nearly all of the parts aren't swapped! Only the steering wheel in my 89 Sedan is another one. The steering wheel from the green Station is also the normal one. Every Station wagon which is younger than 1990 has it... Many parts we have in Germany were never available in the US. The cooling system, the bumpers (front and rear) and so on... ============================================= Now, here's a list of parts I've been looking for: First, I need the complete cruise control I nobody has it got it's not so bad, I've got a cruise control from a Legacy, so I only need following parts for it: Picture of cruise control from steering wheel - I need them but no complete steering wheelThe parts were in the 87 GL-10 (88-, the US cars had other steering wheels)... - the OFF/ON switch - a wiring diagram It also would be interesting for my XT to get some special parts... --------------- I need the brackets for the speakers from the rear doors, too.... --------------- I also need the wiper switch from the GL-10 --------------- Picture of the position of the parts parts list At least I need the trip computer... these parts would fit best from 88- GL-10s. We have the Station wagon (Station) only for DL. Every SuperStation and Station has got DR, in normal ones and in Turbos. The 3-Door (Coupé) and 4-Door (Sedan) have got SR 4WD. Only the 89 Turbo Sedan has got DR. All Subarus in Germany have got 4WD. We have XTs from 85-87 with on demand 4WD and 88-90 with full time 4WD. I'm going to make some pictures of the parts I need. I'm looking for Subaru GL-10 parts I can't get in Germany. For example the cruise control or the trip computer. I need these parts for my 89 Turbo. Maybe someone has got these parts or knows where I can get them. THANKS!
