  1. I don't see how teflon is going to do anything for your cooling system. It doesn't even work in motor oil. RMI-25 pretty much does what it says for cooling systems. I also like Auto-RX in my motor oil. Keeps it clean and sludge free. Other than that, I use some Chevron Techron Fuel cleaner every oil change and these steps are probably all overkill for my old wagon lol! -Doug
  2. I have a 93 Loyale and the temp gauge always goes up 1/4 of the way pretty quickly. It blows pretty hot heat for me. The weather here has been in the 40's lately and I set the heater temp half way or it'll roast me out. I'm guessing there is still something awry in your system because mine seem on par with most cars I have driven. cheers, Doug
  3. Suberdave, Obviously you're old lights were near usless, how are these hid's out on the road? Have you had a chance to guage how much glare there is for other drivers yet? People cried about glare when halogens first came out, but they got used to it. I had a '67 Camaro whose headlights were very similar to your OEM, very dangerous at night time! I'm glad for the better lighting technology, so I'm hoping the wagons reflectors are not too bad for glare issues. -Doug
  4. 5w30 here. Thicker oils make my motor tick on startup below freezing. 5w30 oils on awhole will outperform their 10w30 counterparts. Flows better cold and will be the proper viscosity when warm. Why starve your motor on cold winter starts? -Doug
  5. Are these things just plug n play on our old Subes? The O NEX kit I have seen specified low beam only, did yours? I'm very interested in this, please update us on how you like them. thanks, Doug
  6. When I got my Loyale, it had an intermittent setting that didn't work plus the wipers were really slow as well. I added a new ground to the wiper motor and the intermittant worked again plus the wipers were a little faster. Then I sprayed the battery terminals and connectors with Deoxit and whoa! They're moving like new now! -Doug
  7. Just to add another thing, every time you deep cycle a car battery, you significantly shorten it's life span. That battery will probably be toast by next winter now. Get one of those solar chargers and turn off the alarm. peace, Doug
  8. I just unhooked the battery and turned on the headlights to drain any residual charges in the electrical system. -Doug
  9. I recently picked up a 93 Loyale and it has the same mentioned hesitation issues. Mine seem to be MAF related. I cleaned it up real good and reset the computer and it runs perfect now, but the MAF appears to be on it's way out because I can tap on it with a screwdriver handle and it will make the engine stumble..... cheers, Doug
