driveshaft is in!!!
HAHAHAHA!!! Got a call from Drivelines NW today right after school and went to pick up my new driveshaft to the tune of $206.xx! :cornfuzz: Oh well its just money after all! They even painted it nice and shiny and put a big shiny sticker on it. And the best part is it fits like a dream!!! For future referance from tip of the driveshaft side yoke to the other, 53 5/8 inches is perfect. At least thats what i remember. I could run out and check, but I got some HW I should be doing.

EJ into EA81
You know im talking about an 84, right? I always thought that that since the EJ is OHC that it was too wide to fit snugly, but if its just the radiator, then there is really no issue.

EJ into EA81
So guys, whats the deal with this swap? I've heard a lot of talk on this subject but no difinitive answers! (Maybe i just missed them though!) Heres what I've heard so far: 1. To fit it you must have a 6" lift 2. Requires cutting of chassis 3. It can be done with out cutting or lift. Who knows for sure?

DR 5 Spd swap specs needed
Ill stick with my 1pc driveshaft just cause i like the idea of not having to deal with the carrier bearing and also i found a place that will lengthen it for pretty damn cheap.

Example of bad autocross form ( pic.)
the rear trailing arms from an XT6 will bolt onto an EA81 wagon/ hatch?

Actually if front wheel drive is being used, lifting the rear inside tire is awesome and to an extent good also in 4WD. When this happens, there is less grip in the rear of the car, making it want to lose traction before the front! And we all know the deffinition of oversteer is having the rear end loose traction before the front! BTW do you have any more pics of your car autoxing? Im gonna do it in my turbo wagon when Im finished with it. You say that you have the XT6 rear bar? How did you mount it? pics of that? Also do the front bars off of EA82s fit on the front of EA81s?
