  3. well got it running the guy was happy that i got it started but kind of mad that it only took me about 5 min. to start it and took him two weeks last year with no luck so it runs great now put some water in it now it dosent over heat still need to figuer out about the fluid in water problem i dont see any water in the oil.
  4. its automatic, just paid for it today and haven't dug in to it yet but the oil/water in the radiator didn't think it looked or smelled like tranny fluid. But right now I'm not for sure. I didn't get much time before it got dark after I got it.
  5. When will the next group buy be? I could use 4 kits for me and friends.
  6. I was approached by my neighbor the other day and he asked if I would be interested in giving this a new home or if I knew of anyone that would for $250. Very clean inside and out. I just had to get it. it has oil going into the radator but no water in oil pan. any ideas? The front shocks had been replaced with standard and not the origional air that it should have. So it will need those. and that's the only problems with the car.
  7. hey the same thing happed to me now my brat backfires like crazy
  8. all i really want is the tranny and maby the pistons so if subaruguru dosent what those that would be cool  Max
  9. is that the wombat body that was made for volkswagon pan? we were looking at those bodys when it was called a humbug untill GM made them change the name a few years ago, but the $5000.00 kit was to high for us to get.
  10. my fav would be my 360 sedan it gets a lot of head turns around town and my 80 brat but engine is going bad thinking about a buick v6 swap going to be a good brat maby
  11. I'm with Grimes and DiggerRoo, You shouldn't pass on one to let it go to a "Collector" if it's what you have a desire for. Isn't it the same desire and passion for these cars that drive a collector to gather them up and use as a restorer or for parts to fix one they allready have. After all if you love to use it for a daily driver then that vehicle will be getting fixed when needed and not sitting around to rust. My 80 Brat gets 26 mpg city. NAPA and AutoZone seem to be able to get the parts I need fairly easy, some instock and others just 3 days shipped. My dads 03 BAJA only gets 20mpg
