Yeah it does not matter if the car is hot-cold it always makes noise and if i hit it with my hand it does it too! So that means it's crap! And if so then how do i replace it? Do i have to buy the mid pipe section?

When does the EA82 SPFI stop makeing power? 5200rpm?

Alright Mike, thanx! Do you know if i can stop the rattleing? It souls like it's inside that second cat. Because if i give it a light hit then it makes the noise. Plus when i rev it and take off from a stop:grin:

SPFI EA82 about 3500rpm in park.. And 4000-4500 in 2nd if i'm on the highway and on a dead stop.

Hummm? Yeah it could be a second cat because it does have a heatsheild on it. See my first cat by the Y-pipe has no heatsheild on it. It must have fall'en of before i bought the car. Anyhoo can i fix the really anoying rattle? It sounds bad when i feed the gas and then it soulds like everyone else.

Hey JesZek, No it's can't be just a Ball Bearing for the timing pully. Ok so he had some noise, But the car won't start. So i'd say it was a T-belt. Maybe a Distribitor. But i dout it. Hope you find out what it was! Best of luck, and Welcome to the site!

Yeah i wounldnt worry to much. It's probely just a little dirt. Do an oil change put a Subaru filter on. And let her run and she'll be ok!

Now that one thing i dident think of was, If you put it on jack stands and start doing 45-100mph. What's cooling the car? There's no air moving at the car! So it will over heat! Like when you take your car to Emissions. They stick a big fan in front of your car..

Yep i guess that's what it is. You know my parents own a 99 Blazer S-10 4dr 4WD with the 4.3 Vortec V6 Red line@ 5500rpm. And that thing fly's! The speed-o only say's it can do 100mph. But i know it can go faster then that and probely under 5000rpm. Because if you look at the tech when your going 65-70 it's only on 1500-2000! So i wonder how fast that can go?

So i wonder why Subaru put those gauges in it? If it can't do 130 then why does it say it? They must meen for the EA82T?

hahgaha! Yeah! Yeah know the car feel's pretty good doing 50mph, Feels soild. And thanx for the info on the ratio's! Atleaset i know what 3rd is now!
