i the legacy spring are taller than outback's and the top mount of the outback is different. so i gotta use legacy springs and the top mounts to get full Lift

Just got my Outback Struts :cool: at $10 Ea & Pulled them my self Cant Wait to put them on. but gotta get springs changed.

ok so i finally got the money for the Outback Struts:). Correct me if I'm wrong. Outback Struts with my Legacy's Stock springs to get maximum Strut lift. also thought about L.S.D now what models had these ? Turbo did dint they ? i know were 1 92-94 Legacy Turbo wagon sits. I'm thinking its a 3.90 Gear Ratio ? while my non Turbo is 4.111 is the turbo 3.90? or a 4.11 ? Thanks for any useful Info -John

what years and models would this engine have lil to no trouble installing ? obviously another 95 legacy.

this 95 had Dual Outports Exhaust on the Heads. so that will be a problem :-\ since i do not have the Y-Pipe. he finds all this out. he isn't gonna buy:-\ maybe he will since this isn't an Interference engine. well i'll let you guys know what goes on. and if anyone else asks i'll know how to answer them. you guys are Great Help Thanks -John

not as easy as using 99 intake on 95 block ?

i got a guy interested in buying my engine. he sais his 99 legacy has 2.2L and he called couple yards asked about an engine. he said the yard people said only 99 2.2l will work. he wants to make sure my 95 engine will work with his 99 Legacy. is their any known issues ? far as i know its easy Engine Change. Greatly Appreciate the Info Guys. -John

Update: a local yard called Seaman's Auto Wrecking has outback struts and for only $10ea if i pull them. as soon as i get the money i'll go buy all 4 and put them on my legacy

test light....i was thinking of that yellow thing with a dial and 2 probes. to come think of it i'm not sure we have one. and i didnt think of using one either.

did that. motor moved slightly. then didn't move again in neither up or down and excuse me for not knowing how to use a test thing... i never learned to use one.

dunno how to do that. would a 95 Legacy Motor work in a 90 Legacy ?

this is rotted out so i decided to part it out

drivers side window does not work. and believe its the motor. so would an XT6 Motor work ? what about a Loyale motor ? i would like to get the drivers side window fixed. John

Hey GD looks Like it has Rear Disc. I'm not entirely sure so I'll post the pictures i took. i can see clean area were the brake pad would rub on rotor i cant pull anything till the Weekend.

ok. and i dont think i'll be tearing this subaru apart. its way to nice. i drove it 6 miles and runs perfect but said it leak antifreeze (no problem) oil leak above caty converter..any one have an idea were the leak could be ? and tie rod end (no problem) Pictures:

in the pictures. it shows both legacies are GEN 1. i attached Gen 2 picture of the one like I'm gonna get Tonight.

My Legacy has the EJ22 and so does the other Legacy here in US we didn't get the Push button 4wd or the Dual range. so that's out. now i am confused. the tranny wont and will in a Gen1 so which is it

got that right! well.....i could scrap it for less than what i paid for it:-\ not gonna happen btw it runs and drives. known issues: Oil leak above Caty...thinking its a Cam seal) Leaks Antifreeze and Lose Tie Rod End

well the car is pretty much mine.. well my fathers till i pay him back for it. $140 for it. i'll do transfer monday. fromt their i dunno if its gonna be a parts car or a fix and sell
