ok ill go to the auto parts store tomarrow,down here a good 1 for that stuff is autozone, now vrm? im assuming that is something to do with the voltage regulator?and if so i thought that was incorporated into the alternator?let me know cause as with all areas im learning from u guys. thnx bb

as u probably already know i have 2 fans,1 i got set to come on with the key,and the other comes on when the temp rises,but anyway they r both working fine,anymore ideas?

i read all the gm alternator swap stories,and wanted to know is there any higher output amp that will just bolt on to a ea81? cause my amp gauge always read just a little over half (about 13 or 14 volts)and i just got my a/c done yesterday and noticed that it was pulling the gauge down to about 8 volts normal? thnx

ive used 134 in 1 of my mustangs and the freeze 12 in the brat and yes it cools well,i think the freeze is better than the 134 but it could just be the cars they r in. gluck

hey guy i dont know what type of vehicle u have,but i put 2 cans of freeze 12 in my brat today and it brought it right up to 256 on the gauges and that was right on as far as an 85 brat specs went.and this was from dead empty with a new j/y compressor that i manually added oil too, hope this helps.bb oh yeah p.s anymore than 2 cans and i guarantee ull blow something.

not positive on that aba, down here we have goodyr. stores that specialize in just about anything rubber,but i know this it has to be a goodyr store and not just a place that sells tires. hope it helps ya. bb

hey aba, cant help u with any of ur thread,but wanted to tell u when u need or get ready for hoses go to goodyear. thats where i went and they made me all new hoses for my 85 brat and pretty reasonable too. good luck

ok no mechanic here but down here the 134 cans say NEVER put more than 3 in,so i hope that helps u a little.

hey tom and all else,got the grill cut today looks pretty good,will post a pic when i get it on and painted.also tom i decided to just straight wire the light for full control when i want it without the relay,and with the battery today i think i got the wires figured for that(damn im an electrician now) anyway thnx again guys and qman dont worry about the trade now:brow:
