  1. Yea, I've had my girlfriend doing all my posting since my computer has been down for a few months. In fact, I'm using hers right now. I don't know anyone looking to trade a bike for a Brat, but I am in contact with a guy who just closed up a bike place in Center City and a buddy of mine bought a real nice Honda Shadow for $500 off of him. I bought a dirtbike. He's got a few bikes left that are selling for a few hundred bucks that only need things like a battery. As far as needing the part, I have a second Brat for parts parked out in front of my house, so if I do need the motor, I can pull it off of there, but thanks for the offer. I still am interested in wheels, though. Is it possible for you to send me some kind of pictures before I make the trip up there? Thanks.
  2. Ok, So I had an alarm installed, and an amp and cd player. I hooked up a split box behind each of the seats, and had 2 sony xplod 6x9's put in the doors. I've had real good luck with buying everything from my work(pep boys). THe box was 14.00, the cd player was reduced from 250$ to 35$, and the speakers were 10$ for both. I think my good luck just came to an end. I took the glovebox out, and took out the speaker that is there. I took the factory connector off of the speaker and soldered it too a 4 1/2 sony xplod that I bought. I dont think I grounded it right cause when I plugged it in to the dash it worked for a second and then their was a small pop and now my door speakers sound like they're under water. The boxes behind the seats still work, but now it just adds to everything sounding like rump roast. Does it sound like I blew the speakers??????Thanx for all the input, and thanx for the offer Boz, After this little mess I created I may need your help after all.
  3. Thanx for the responses, I'll give that stuff a try and worse case scenario, I have a 2nd brat that I can take parts off of.
  4. Can anyone tell me where that diagram is for welding that plate in the rear for brat's? That little spot that lets water in that people have welded up?THanx
  5. I believe the light blue one youre reffering too is hasseys that he sold. As far as the maroon one with a 6 cylinder in it, Im glad I dont know what your talking about cause it would kill me to see it and not have the funds to buy it.
  6. I keep throwing the idea around of buying an older hatchback or wagon, and puting a lift on it. But I've also been thinking about maybe getting somthing newer, with more of the Luxury type options, and giving it a pretty nice lift(atleast 4+ inches). If anyone has done this before, and knows around how much everything would cost, and possibly how much of a headache it would be, I'd really appreciate the info. Also if any pictures of completed projects are availabe, I'd appreciate one of them too. THanx alot.
  7. Im downloading now. Hopefully by mid october, it will be done downloading.
  8. Wow, thats nuts. If I cant find a good brat for an alright amount of money, I really wouldnt mind having a lifted hatch with pugs on it. Hmmmmmmm.
  9. Hey shouldnt u be the one in the back pushing?hahaha, just kidding. I really want to go off roading!!!! It seems like alot of fun. (Especially if it was in someone elses car) Oh yeah, tim, Your picture definetly is the worst.
  10. I may make a cameo appearence if Im not too busy huffing motorcycle fumes, scaring squares, hangin' louies, and rolling up packs of unfiltered camels in my tight white shirt sleeve.
  11. Im rounding the year and a half mark, maybe more. I came so close the other weekend too. I won the black one with the wierd stripes on the side in connecticut(on ebay) that had rust on "the rocker panels" But after driving the 5 hour drive I was real amused to find out that when he said "rocker panels" he meant the whole entire car. The bed had huge holes, the floor was missing in parts and u could see the road through the floor. Man, I thought I finally got me a brat too.ah well, someday.
  12. Where in alaska did u used to live?I was just there less then a week ago.
  13. Buy a mid eighties toyota pickup in alright condition. Scrape off the toyota stuff and put "Subaru" on it instead. That may lift a little from your conscience. <----STill funny
  14. It reminds me of a corrado, or a newer GTI. I vote keep the dancing bananas in every post, atleast while I still get a kick out of them:banana:
