Got it all wired up today, black with white line 12v switch, heavy red to battery, heavy black to ground, orange to pos on coil, small black to coil neg, black wire with white strip from dizzy to coil pos, white wire from msd box to yellow wire from dizzy, got LED on msd box to show the triggers but no start. Crank but not start. Don't know going to go back over all my wiring next chance I get. Any input would sure be nice.

Can any of you guys running the msd 6a boxes get me a picture or get me a half assed wiring diagram? Trying to get my 6a wired in with a blaster ss coil in my 85 brat. So far no good.

I have a weber coming already. I'm am planing on swapping intakes from ea81 to the ea82 intake, that bring said I will have an extra intake off my brat will that work for you? It might be a little while before I do get a chance to do the swap. ( some time this summer) I will gladly traid you the intake for a parts carb and parts kit. Are you in a big hurry to get rid of your carb?

Hello im about to put an streed fire cdi box (made by msd its on th 6al line) and blaster ss coil in my 85 brat. question is im not very sure how to wire this thing up. the distribtor in the ea81 are a magnetic pick up right? If yes what colors are the pos and the neg? Where do get a tach signal? Any input would be much apreached. thank you

No cruse, not Injected and I have no intent to cut out old wiring because I understand she's a classic but she will never be owned by anyone else. With that being said only wire ill need to tie in to is for back lighting and indicator and warning lights. We all know how awesome the oe gauges are and that there so correct all the time I just figured why not replace them with something that a bit more useful. Thanks for the input.

Alright got an 85 brat and was thinking about fabing up a custom instrument cluster outa some auto meter or vdo or something, my question is this? Is there any wiring that 100% needs to stay? I'm planing on keeping the oe surround and wil be wiring up all the warning lights and indicators. Is there a vss that I don't know about? Any help would be much needed. Well got here home yesterday an checked the cel codes and nothing. So i tore the t belt covers off and low and behold someone did a ************ty job on timeing it last cause the driver side was off by .5 to 1 tooth. belt and tentioners all look to be newish ( no checking on belts and no bad berrings) so wes going to retime it and see what happens. thanks to the TWO people that put in some input.

Just bought a 93 legacy wagon auto that cranks but wont start. Geting fuel and spark. going to check timing and codes this weekend but my moneys on the crankshaft position sensor. Hello I have a 90 legacy L 4door auto and was wondering what years of car can I get parts from? Mostly looking for stuts and springs front and rear. And does any one know what size the muffler and pipe is, and any cheap ideas for a muffler? Any input would be nice. Thank C Hook

got it all worked out ran a 1/2 can of seafoam in the oil for about a week changed the oil (chucked the ************ty NAPA oil filter and put a K&N filter on there and it stoped ticking "stuck tappet or lifter") and now she runs like a top!!! Davalos and TeamCF try running like a 5w30 in there and a k&N or Fram filter, thay seem to work the best for me i know if i use a napa filter i have a lifter tick and super high oil pressure soo good luck to you guys and thanks to everone that helped me out on this. You guy that are on USMB keep up the good advice you guys rock. Thanks again Captin

What turbo came in the 85 GL-10's And were do i info? Sorry it a EA82T it does say IHI on the housing.

Hello All I have an 85'gl-10 with the Air strut or ajustable ride hight ,was wondering if you can find replacement struts that are ajustable like ones but just the push of the button or am better off just going with reg struts?

Nope not a grounding prob. wire looks good allthe way to the firewall sending unit is working checked that too. what might be now. Any help would be grate
