  1. You really shouldn't let it sit and warmup for more that 30 sec. After that driving @ low speed for a short time is the recommened warmup for any car. Maybe it's loading up by sitting, and then running fine once the excess fuel is burned.
  2. You said you had autolite plugs. Lot of these sooobs will only run w/ OEM plugs and wires. If the wires are after market I'd try changing em. Also I would have changed everything intake, fuel rails, senors, harness, from the 2.2. I'm not sure if that's neccsary but not knowing I would have done it. Good luck
  3. sounds like the old head gasket issue there's alot of info on this in these forums. Same thing happened to me twice on my 97 outback 2.5L. Good luck
  4. Thanks! That sounds great. I'd hoped it would be that easy. Easier than pulling the 2.5 and the 2.2 to install in the outback.
  5. Is it possible to replace the front and rear suspension on a 1997 legecy stationwagon with the suspension parts from a 1997 outback. I own both. The 2.5 outback of course has a blown HG / cracked head(s). I like the height of the outback. Any one hear of such a thing? I'm thinking hubs, rack, wheels tires, etc., basiclly everything to do with the suspension.
