I'm thinking of putting a snow plow from a ATV with an electric motor on my wgn. Has anyone ever heard of it being done? Any suggestions, examples? I'm only going to plow my driveway with it. I know how hard snow plowing is on a vehcile. Also already saw the red soob with the tall verticle pipes. Figured OB shocks and big aggressive snow tire all the way around.

Weird handling, transmission issue
screwbaru2 replied to misledxcracker's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
steering wheel is turned a little left, but the alignment seems just fine. sounds like you may have bent or moved something while you were mudding. If a shop aligns a car and the steering wheel is cocked then the job wasn't done right although the wheels maybe aligned. If you go mudding and come back with a cocked steering wheel and werid handling something is wrong. -
Hey Dude check again in Great Britan one is guilty until one proves themsleves innocent. If you want Britan's system I suggest you move. People left Europe came here and made a better country. Europe has nothing on us. Violence comes from the devaluation of human life not training cops or anyone eles to protect themsleves. Sorry to rant but when I hear people say the anywhere is better than here I gotta respond.

Sorry to hear about this cole. I know what you mean. I was a town cop back int the 70's. The cops were different then. Most of these guys today can only cite or arrest people if not they ignore 'em. Your former empolyers will probaly lie right to your face at a hearing. The higher up the food chain the lower the life. I hope you make out.

That is excatly right. I never tighten any bolts on anything until they are all started. Also if a bolt is frozen try to make it move by tightening it. You'll be surprised how easy it moves in the tightening direction. Then it's just as easy to loosen it. Works most of the time. Great way to loosen brake bleeders.

That looks just like my OB. My 2.5 lasted 180K before the HG issue. I didn't know about the issue at the time or USMB and was mislead by the subaru parts counter guy. So i replaced it with another 2.5 w/ 60K that lasted about the same amount of miles. About 4 years. They are great cars I miss mine but I have a 2.2 for it so it won't be long the OB will ride again. Buy the car then start looking for a 2.2 to replace the anchor in there now. After a long test drive check the overflow tank for the cooling system if you see small black spots floating around in there then the HG is starting to appear it doesn't happen all at once, that should get the price down. Good luck and enjoy!

Fiats were fun cars for short periods when they ran. Followed by long expense periods of repair. Those disks made in china, some have a coating on them that can only be removed with hot soapy water! Had a issue with my ob shaking while braking, after a complete brake job. The new rotors were not warped. After taking .005 off each side and new pads the problem was gone. My parts guy told me about the coating. Says once you use the brakes the stuff becomes embedded in the disk and the pads. The disks needed cutting and the pads changed.

I tried to post pics but I get an error message telling me the file is too big 748K limit is 50k. The pics are 10 megpix I'm going to retake them at 3megpix. See if I can get the file size down. I'd like to show it off. I don't often find deals like this, I'm a happy boy. The icing on the cake was last years tax return came in today had a dispute with the IRS. I won. I got my refund plus $447.00 interest. So the car is payed for, and there's money left over.

Just bought a 1997 impreza 4dr sedan 2.2L 80,000 miles on rebuilt eng. I was going to yank the 2,2 for my OB but this car is too nice. Mama scerwbaru is going to wind up with this one. I'll yank the leg wgn's 2.2 I'm driving now. How much you ask? $800.00 US. I tried to attach pics but I'm having a problem. File is too big. No body damage or rot needs ground lights in bumper and the heater control needs work. What a great day so far!!

"The lower driver's side engine to tranny stud/nut is not fun. Very tight in space and torque. I use a flex socket and extensions from below. Pass side (lower) can be reached from up above after the air box and lines are removed." I've also used a comb of extentions (wobble) regular / univerisal and reached this nut/stud with the rachet at the tail of the tranny. Plenty of room to swing and get leverage. Good luck I'm doing this soon myself.
